CHASE THE NORTHERN LIGHTS
From 2495,- per person
Aurora Explorer
Your Arctic adventure begins at the North Cape Experience Office, where your local guide will greet you, prepare you with the necessary equipment, and help you set up your cameras for the night ahead.
We’ll then set off across the island of Magerøya, a landscape shaped by dramatic tundra, rugged fjords, and endless ocean views. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about life above the Arctic Circle and the unique history and culture of this remote region.
Tour Highlights
🌄 Panoramic Viewpoint
Stop at a breathtaking 360° viewpoint overlooking the fjord and the historic Hornvika, the original gateway to the North Cape. With a bit of luck, we’ll find the “Dancing Lady” the aurora borealis illuminating the Arctic sky.
🌌 North Cape Plateau
Visit one of the northernmost points in Europe – the legendary North Cape. Here, you’ll have time to explore the iconic Globe Monument, admire the dramatic cliffside views, and if nature smiles upon us witness the northern lights dancing above the horizon.
🏔 Sarnes & Kåfjord
These scenic viewpoints are among our favorite hidden gems for aurora hunting. Depending on the weather, we’ll choose the best locations to give us the greatest chance of witnessing this natural wonder.
🌠 Honningsvåg Mountain
As we make our way back, we’ll stop to enjoy one final Arctic panorama before returning to town.
After the adventure, we’ll return to the North Cape Experience Office, where you can warm up in our cozy gallery with a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea—the perfect ending to your northern lights journey.
