Buggy Fishing Villages Tour – Arctic Coastal Adventure
Join a guided buggy adventure from Honningsvåg and explore authentic Arctic fishing villages, dramatic coastal landscapes, and hidden viewpoints around Magerøya. This unique off-road experience combines local culture, Arctic traditions, and scenic adventure into one unforgettable journey.
Travel comfortably in a guided buggy as you discover life in the far north, visit traditional communities, and enjoy spectacular views along the Arctic coast.
Fishing Villages & Arctic Culture
Starting from Honningsvåg, your guide will take you through traditional fishing villages such as Nordvågen and Kamøyvær, where you’ll experience the everyday life of Northern Norway’s coastal communities.
A highlight of the tour is a visit to Bruket Fish Factory in Nordvågen. Here you can learn about Arctic fishing traditions, watch live fish processing from an observation balcony, meet the famous Arctic King Crab, and taste local specialties such as stockfish and Norwegian caviar.
Off-Road Arctic Adventure
Enjoy an exciting off-road section near Kamøyvær, taking you beyond the main road to a spectacular viewpoint near a historic military area. Along the way, experience rugged Arctic coastline, open landscapes, and panoramic sea views.
The tour also includes a stop at the famous Nordkapptrappa viewpoint above Honningsvåg, offering one of the best panoramic views over the town and harbor.
Final Stops in Honningsvåg
Before returning, visit Honningsvåg Church — the only building in town to survive World War II and a powerful symbol of Arctic resilience.
The tour finishes at a historic fishing facility near the harbor, where you can explore a small photo gallery, browse souvenirs, and learn more about Arctic fishing traditions.
